Active online reading for International Women's Day

Under the motto "Open your heart to the wonders of your life", the Women's Office of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, together with the District Adult Education Centre, invites you to an active online reading on International Women's Day on 8 March from 7 pm. Those interested are cordially invited to register by 3 March.

The speakers Julia Backhaus, yoga teacher and relaxation educator, and Svenja Lotze, psychological counsellor and non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, will broadcast the event from the newly created streaming room of the Kreisvolkshochschule into the digital space. The reading is based on the book they published, "12 Days for Your Soul". After the digital reading, participants can take part in a 40-minute online yoga session.

"The Corona pandemic has forced us to rethink this year - also with regard to our traditional events for International Women's Day," says the district's women's representative Beate Friedrich. "With the online meditation reading, we have found a great format in which we can nevertheless mark the day together - albeit at a distance and in the digital space." The Women's Office is looking forward to many registrations by 3 March - by email to frauenbuero@lkwafkb.de. The event will take place via the digital platform Zoom. The link will be sent to all registered persons in advance with the registration confirmation.
