Winter onset: Some schools switch to distance learning

The State Education Authority Fritzlar, which is also responsible for Waldeck-Frankenberg, recommends making use of the possibility to educate all pupils - including those in the final years - in distance learning during the next two days, possibly also until the end of this week. The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg has been notified of the following information from some schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg. The list does not claim to be complete.


Bad Arolsen


Heinrich Lüttecke School Bad Arolsen

  • will be closed from 8 to 12 February for face-to-face classes
  • Pupils are trained in distance learning


Kaulbach School Bad Arolsen

  • remains closed until 12 February for face-to-face teaching
  • Pupils of the final years H9, H10 and R10 are trained in distance learning via the "Teams" learning platform

Korbach

Vocational schools Korbach and Bad Arolsen

  • remains closed until 13 February for face-to-face teaching
  • Pupils - including those in the final years - are trained in distance learning
  • As of 15 February, the current face-to-face classes for students in final years will continue.


Louis Peter School

  • remains closed until 12 February for face-to-face teaching
  • it is taught at a distance
  • Care will be suspended up to and including Wednesday in consultation with the parents who have registered their children and will be offered again as of 11 February


Willingen


Upland School Willingen

  • Classes H9, R10, IKL and Q4 will be taught face-to-face from 9 February.
  • Emergency care for classes 1 to 6 for registered pupils is in place
