Online seminar on 18 May: Money looks good on women

The Women's Office of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in cooperation with the Office for Civic Women's Work (Büro für Staatsbürgerliche Frauenarbeit e.V.) is organising a free online seminar on 18 May on how women can make the best possible financial provisions. Those interested can register by 17 May.

Especially in the family phase, when money is often tight, many women do not think about their financial future. Even if financial equality in the family is the goal, the reality in many families is different. Changes in life plans such as separation, unemployment, illness or retirement can then lead to a heavy financial burden.

How women can make good financial provisions for themselves in good time, which paths can even be fun, is what the online seminar is about. The event also has tips for women who have supposedly already missed their opportunities and possibilities for better financial security. How do you determine your pension needs for old age? What options are there for private old-age provision, with special attention to the criteria of security - return - flexibility? How can you make the best use of state subsidies to build up your personal old-age provision? These and other questions will be answered in the seminar by the speaker Dominique-Chantal Pontani from Wiesbaden. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity to discuss specific questions.
