Next district council meeting will take place in Frankenberg on 7 November

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on Monday, 7 November at 2 pm in the Kulturhalle in Frankenberg. The Chairman of the District Council, Rainer Hesse, cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting.

The agenda includes, among other things, the number of rescue service missions in Waldeck-Frankenberg as well as the adoption and appropriation of results of the 2021 annual financial statements of the Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung. Furthermore, the deputies will decide on the economic plan of the Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung for the financial year 2023. The deputies will also deal with the connection of all households and businesses in the district to the fibre optic network of Breitband Nordhessen GmbH. Furthermore, the meeting will deal with an inter-communal cooperation between the district and the city of Kassel in the area of student BAföG.

In addition, the final report on the comparative audit of the 2021 budget structure for the district is submitted to the district council for information. Finally, the district council will be presented with unbudgeted expenses in the sub-result budget for special schools in the financial year 2022 for approval and will be informed of unbudgeted expenses in the sub-result budget for assistance for foreign refugees and migrants.

The public meeting of the 71 members of the district council will take place in Frankenberg, as the district council meeting room in the district hall is currently not available for this purpose.
