Strengthening Resilience: Training of the Self-Help Contact Point

The Self-Help Contact Point of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district is offering a free training course on 8 November on the topic of "Resilience for the Soul - Strengthening Resilience". The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Korbach district hall, taking into account the currently valid Corona rules. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend.

Registrations will be accepted until 4 November 2022 under the telephone number 05631 954-888 or the e-mail address shk@lkwafkb.de. Further questions about the training or about self-help in general will also be answered at these contact details.

A person's resilience is sometimes called the "immune system of the soul". It allows one to face stress with mental strength and composure and to see stresses as challenges and opportunities rather than as unsolvable problems. Resilient people stay in balance more easily and can grow in the face of adversity.

During the training on 8 November, participants will learn the basics of this concept. They will find out how strong their "mental immune system" is and try out approaches to develop their own resilience in order to be able to face challenges more calmly in the future. Speaker Britta Ellger-Lehr is an NLP Master (NLP = Neuro-Linguistic Programming), certified health and mental counsellor, fitness trainer, psychotherapist in accordance with the Heilpraktikergesetz (non-medical practitioner law) and has her own practice in Bickenbach.
