The second meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council in 2025 will take place on 21 February from 2 p.m. in the district council meeting room of the district building in Korbach at Südring 2. The most far-reaching item on the ten agenda items is the resolution on the 2025 district budget. District council chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all citizens interested in the work of the committee to attend the meeting.
In addition to the discussion and resolution on the budget and budget bylaws as well as the updating of the budget security concept as part of the 2025 budget planning, two other financial topics are on the agenda: the report on budget implementation for the fourth quarter of 2024 on the basis of financial accounting as well as information on the approval of unbudgeted expenses in the areas of "Social Affairs" and "Child, Youth and Family Assistance". In addition, the district council deals with the reconfirmation of the continuation of the guarantee declaration of EAM GmbH & Co. KG.
The agenda for the meeting on 21 February also includes a major question on the development of all-day schools and an application to list the district's third-party and/or mixed-financed projects with allocated positions and further information. The items for discussion will be rounded off by "Question Time", "Current Concerns" and "Miscellaneous". Further information can be found here.
