Reading competition: Tabea Radtke wins the northern district competition

Ten young reading experts came together in the Korbach public library for the Waldeck-Frankenberg North district competition in the 6th grade reading contest to determine a winner in an exciting, fair competition. The six-member jury had a hard time deciding between the equally good school winners.

In the end, Tabea Radtke from the Alte Landesschule Korbach came out on top. She actually read her passage from "Die goldene Schreibmaschine" by Carsten Henn a little bit better than the other nine young reading fans and also impressed the jury the most with the unknown text from "Mein Pampa-Leben - Ohne dich ist alles Dorf". Tabea will represent the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg in the Kassel district competition on 22 April 2025, together with the winner of the Waldeck-Frankenberg South district competition, which will be held in Frankenberg on 25 February.
