ProBe: District invites you to presentation days in May and June

Get a taste of different careers while still at school: pupils from numerous general education schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg can do this as part of the "Profile Development and Vocational Orientation" programme, or ProBe for short. They will produce workpieces and work results that will be exhibited on 22 May in Frankenberg, on 2 June in Bad Wildungen and on 5 June in Korbach. Anyone interested is cordially invited to the presentation days.

Insights into various professional fields
"Profile development and career guidance" is an innovative programme that combines theory and practice. It enables young people from ten secondary schools in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district to gain intensive insights into various professional fields over a period of two and a half years while they are still at school: For one year, the participants also spend one day a week visiting the workshops and specialist rooms of the vocational schools in Korbach Bad Arolsen or the training workshops of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district craftsmen's association - where they can get a taste of the fields of metal technology, electrical engineering, wood technology, business and administration, personal hygiene, health, catering/nutrition and home economics, construction technology, colour technology, automotive technology and social services.

Cordial invitation to the presentation days
The work results and finished workpieces will be exhibited at the annual presentation days. These will take place on 22 May from 4 to 6 pm at the Hans-Viessmann-Schule in Frankenberg, on 2 June from 4 to 6 pm at the Hans-Viessmann-Schule in Bad Wildungen and on 5 June from 2 to 4 pm at the Korbach and Bad Arolsen vocational schools in Korbach. Anyone interested is cordially invited to come along and watch the presentations. Under the motto "We can do something... And we'll show you!" the young people proudly present the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The events offer a unique opportunity to experience the successes of the innovative career guidance programme at first hand.
