District council meeting on 7 November: Presentation of the 2026 budget
On Friday, 7 November 2025, the 71 members of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council will meet for their penultimate meeting of the year at 2 p.m. in the district council meeting room of the district building in Korbach. The main topic of discussion is the introduction of the 2026 district budget. District council chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested citizens to attend the public meeting.
In addition to the presentation and justification of the "Budget statutes and budget plan for the 2026 financial year, investment programme and profit and financial planning for the period 2025-2029" and "Budget planning 2026 - update of the budget security concept in accordance with Section 92a HGO for the period 2025-2029", the agenda also includes eight other items. In addition to "Question Time", "Topical Hour" and "Miscellaneous", there are two motions from district parliamentary groups: "Welcoming culture for newborns" and "Improving social housing in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg".
The three other items on the agenda deal with the dissolution of DELTA Waldeck-Frankenberg GmbH, the business plan of Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung for the 2026 financial year and the 6th amendment to the waste disposal statutes of the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg dated 4 November 2013. It is not necessary to register to attend the district council meeting on 7 November 2025.
