Lectures, seminars, trips: Programme for women starts

Comprehensive and inspiring - this is how the training and event programme for women in 2025 can be described. Women who want to strengthen their personal and professional skills, do something good for themselves and discover new perspectives will find numerous opportunities to do so in the programme. The variety of topics is specifically tailored to the needs of women.

The programme is divided into various formats and subject areas that offer women the opportunity to develop flexibly and individually, for example

  • Online events on the topics of ChatGPT, communication and the important topic of finance; in the latter, several practice-orientated and interactive online seminars are dedicated to the question of financial independence, smart investments and retirement planning - valuable knowledge for participants to manage their finances securely and independently;
  • One-day seminar on self-care; self-care is the key to a healthy and balanced life; this seminar shows strategies and methods for coping with stress, recognising your own needs and looking after yourself in the long term;
  • One-day seminar on business yoga; in this seminar, women learn how to find a balance between their professional life and personal well-being with targeted yoga exercises and mindfulness;
  • Information event on separation and divorce; well-founded information and legal orientation on the topics of separation and divorce to support women in coping better with difficult phases of life and knowing their rights.

In addition, four specially designed trips are also offered, which enable participants to discover new places, experience community and develop their skills in a relaxed environment. Events such as International Women's Day, self-defence courses and action days round off the programme.

"Our aim is to accompany and support women in all situations in life," explains Beate Friedrich, Head of the Women and Equal Opportunities Service. "We have created a wide range of programmes that cover both professional and personal aspects and empower women."

It is now possible to register for the individual events by e-mail, by calling 05631 954-1318 or via the district's website. An overview of the entire programme and more detailed information is also available there. The Women and Equal Opportunities Service is looking forward to accompanying women on their journey to greater knowledge, strength and well-being in 2025.
