Family midwives
Family midwives
Family midwives are certified midwives with additional training. They accompany expectant parents from pregnancy until the child is 1 year old. Questions about the child's health development, care and nursing as well as how to interpret the child's signals and what needs can be derived from them can be discussed with the family midwife. She helps with questions and uncertainties. Worries and family stresses can also be discussed with her. Family midwives also take care of single parents and underage mothers. Depending on the needs, the family midwife usually provides support in 1 to 2 appointments per week. The help of a family midwife offers an early support possibility for a good start - right from the beginning!
