The budget is the basis for the budgetary and economic management of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. The budget, which is prepared annually, serves to determine and cover the financial requirements that the district is expected to need to fulfill its tasks in the appropriation period. The budget and the budget statutes are prepared annually - in each case for the coming financial year - and adopted by the district council of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. It contains all estimated revenues and expenditures or income and expenses as well as commitment appropriations and the staffing plan for the respective financial year.
