The ‘overcome’ project is funded as part of the ESF Plus programme ‘STRENGTHENING YOUTH: Bridges to Independence’ by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus). It is also funded by the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and represents a further step towards promoting the independence of young people.

This may include, amongst other things, finding suitable accommodation, offering support with healthcare, applying for social security benefits, or, ultimately, helping them to (re)integrate into the labour market. The key aim here is to promote the young people’s independence and support them in their personal development.
