Family, Health & Pediatric Nursing

Family, health and pediatric nurses are certified health and pediatric nurses with additional training. They advise and support parents in dealing with, promoting health and development, as well as in shaping relationships with the child. For special needs, such as premature babies, children with regulation disorders, sick children and/or stressful life situations, they have specialist knowledge and know other support options. Concerns and family stresses can also be discussed with them. Family, health and pediatric nurses also care for single parents and underage mothers. Depending on need, they usually provide support with 1 to 2 appointments per week. Help from a family, health and pediatric nurse practitioner provides an early support option for a good start- right from the beginning!
