Family, Health & Children's Nursing

Family, health and paediatric nurses are registered health and paediatric nurses with additional training. They advise and support parents in dealing with, promoting health and development as well as in shaping relationships with the child. For special needs, such as premature babies, children with regulation disorders, sick children and/or stressful life situations, they have specialist knowledge and know other support options. Worries and family stresses can also be discussed with them. Family, health and paediatric nurses also take care of single parents and underage mothers. Depending on their needs, they usually provide support with 1 to 2 appointments per week. The help of a family, health and paediatric nurse offers an early support option for a good start - right from the beginning!
