Village development

In Hessen's largest rural district, villages and smaller towns are attractive and lively living spaces for the whole family, whose social, cultural and economic potentials the district promotes. Based on the guideline of the state of Hesse for the promotion of rural development, various municipal and private projects can be financially supported within the framework of village development.

Since March 2023, the funding application for village development can no longer be submitted in paper form, but exclusively via an online application portal.
