The district has a comprehensive and targeted strategy to ensure the long-term provision of healthcare in Waldeck-Frankenberg. It comprises various components – ranging from supporting the next generation of medical professionals to establishing targeted healthcare provision structures. The aim is to ensure that medical care is both needs-based and cost-effective. With the support of the State of Hesse (HMSI), the aim is to ensure that healthcare provision structures can be maintained in rural areas as well in the coming years.
