Since 2012, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg has had a comprehensive and targeted strategy to ensure sustainable health care in Waldeck-Frankenberg. The strategy consists of different building blocks - from the promotion of young medical professionals to the establishment of targeted care structures.

The aim is to ensure that medical care is provided economically and in line with demand. With the support of the State of Hesse (HMSI), the aim is to be able to provide health care structures in rural areas in the coming years.
