Voluntary commitment

Volunteering in Waldeck-Frankenberg is becoming increasingly important. It is also an expression of a willingness to take responsibility, solidarity and the desire to be active in the community. Without volunteer "carers", no association work would be possible, associations and interest groups would not be able to work for the general public or many a project would have to be discontinued before it was even initiated. Regulations, data protection provisions, but also the increased expectations of association members often make life difficult for volunteers. The district would therefore like to support volunteers in their work in the best possible way.
