Care support point

A need for care can be a great challenge for those affected and their relatives - and raise many questions. The care support point of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district offers support, orientation and help for:

  • Persons in need of care
  • caring relatives
  • People with disabilities
  • Interested parties who have questions on the subject of care and provision in old age

The care support point is a joint contact point of the statutory health and care insurance funds and the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. It provides information about long-term care insurance benefits, offers for seniors close to home, information about barrier-free living, and help and support in coordinating care and various assistance offers, as well as financing options and the corresponding application process. Depending on the situation, existing offers of help are individually networked with each other in order to complement each other in the best possible way.

The advice is neutral, free of charge and, if desired, can also be given at home. The team at the care support center will be happy to answer any questions, requests and suggestions.
