Care support point

Care support point

A need for care can be a great challenge for those affected and their relatives - and raise many questions. The care support point of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district offers support, orientation and help for:

  • People in need of care
  • caring relatives
  • People with disabilities
  • Interested parties who have questions on the topic of care and provision in old age

The care support point is a joint contact point of the statutory health and long-term care insurance funds and the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg. It provides information about long-term care insurance benefits, offers for senior citizens close to home, information about barrier-free living and about help and support in coordinating care and various offers of help as well as financing options and the corresponding application process. Depending on the situation, existing support services are individually networked with each other in order to complement each other in the best possible way.

The counselling is neutral, free of charge and can also be provided at home if desired. The team of the care support centre is happy to answer questions, requests and suggestions.
