Regional live, delicious and outdoors - gourmet evening at the monastery garden

After last year's great success, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg and its agricultural department, direct marketing division, are once again inviting people to a gourmet evening in the grounds of the former St. Georgenberg monastery in the Philipp Soldan town. On 3 July from 6 p.m., Frankenberg an der Eder will once again offer tasty dishes from regional direct marketers in the open air. With free admission - and no registration required - all interested culinary foodies are cordially invited to visit the monastery garden.

With the mission of "perfect barbecuing", which he emphasises with his acquired title of "Barbecue World Champion", show chef Klaus Breinig is a prominent guest at the event. Breinig will demonstrate several times during the evening how to get the best out of regional products when preparing them on the grill. The grilled delicacies can then be enjoyed in small portions.

The "hinterland jazz ensemble" will provide the musical entertainment. Under the direction of Charly Mutschler, the small ensemble offers guests a varied programme. The musical setting creates a special live atmosphere where you can enjoy a pleasant chat and savour the event. The fire show "Dikanka Evenings" will amaze you - in ethnic style, theatrical elements are combined with acrobatics, sword fighting and unusual special effects. The district would be delighted to welcome a large number of visitors to the gourmet evening on 3 July from 6 pm.
