Market of funding opportunities on 27 November
Associations, initiatives and private individuals are cordially invited to the "Market of Funding Opportunities" on 27 November at 6 pm in the meeting room of the Korbach district hall. The aim is to identify possible funding pots for projects of all kinds. Interested parties are very welcome to attend.
The event, organised by the village and regional development department of the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, is aimed at all stakeholders who need financial support for various projects - from social and voluntary projects to cultural projects. The aim of the evening is to provide information about the wide range of funding opportunities and to engage in dialogue with one another.
A wide range of stakeholders report on funding opportunities
The district's social affairs department, the "Ehrenamt? Läuft!" with the offers of the State Chancellery of the State of Hesse, the project "Living social villages!" as well as the Waldeck-Frankenberg Sports Association and the Network for Tolerance. Contacts from LEADER will also be on site and the Waldeck-Frankenberg Economic Development Agency will be presenting opportunities to cooperate with local companies. The German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (DSEE) and the regional engagement networks Netzwerk 777 and Förderverein Nieder-Werbe Scheid e.V. will also be represented.
Bundling offers, informing interested parties
"One way in which committed people can receive money for their valuable work is through funding, i.e. money that is not awarded by private individuals or companies, but by institutions, government agencies or private organisations such as foundations and social lotteries," says Katharina Oberhofer-Ast from the village and regional development department. "As part of the market of funding opportunities, we would like to bundle the offers and provide interested parties with targeted information." All visitors are welcome to attend the event.
