Game buffet and live acoustic music in Asel
The specialist agricultural service of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district cordially invites you to a special culinary experience on 6 November at 6 pm at the Sauer Inn in Asel - a game buffet. The game comes exclusively from local forests and is prepared by the Sauer Inn in Vöhl-Asel.
Under the motto "Waldeck-Frankenberg tastes like this", special quality products from the district will be selected again this autumn and prepared into a tasty buffet. The varied and sustainable buffet includes delicacies such as venison broth with herb ragout, venison medallions with cherry-pepper sauce, leg of wild boar, leg of venison, venison goulash, venison bolognese, venison burgers and venison sausage. The menu is complemented by deep-fried potato wedges, boiled potatoes from the Sauer family's own farm, homemade spaetzle, croquettes, potato dumplings, red cabbage, broccoli and colourful winter vegetables from Falkenhof Strothe. Vegetarians are also catered for with a vegetarian pasta pan with ribbon noodles from Reisehühner Kalhöfer and tomato and sesame pesto as well as a lentil roast from Biohof Krähling. A berry compote, vanilla ice cream and nut crumble provide a sweet finishing touch.
The evening will be musically accompanied by Christoph Winzer alias "Guitarissimo" from Korbach. The live acoustic music promises a unique sound experience with sensitive versions of songs from the pop, folk and oldies genres. Supported by foot percussion, looper technology and differently tuned guitars, a tapestry of sound is created that promises more than just one musician.
The participation fee for the game buffet is 39 euros per person, with drinks costs to be paid separately on the evening. Due to the limited number of participants, prior registration is required. After registering, participants will receive written confirmation and a request for payment. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
