District publishes 2026 events programme for women
The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg has published its new training and events programme for women for 2026. The programme is comprehensive, varied and specifically geared towards the different life situations and interests of women.
The programme includes action days, information events, online lectures and one-day seminars that focus equally on personal and professional development. Women who want to strengthen their skills, improve their communication, gain new perspectives or consciously do something for their well-being will find numerous opportunities in the programme.
The programme includes online events on topics such as prenuptial agreements, serenity and communication. Several practice-orientated and interactive online seminars are dedicated in particular to successful communication - both in negotiation situations and in interpersonal relationships. The programme is complemented by one-day seminars such as "Stay relaxed and calm", which helps women to build an appreciative relationship with themselves and develop resilience for everyday life, as well as a business yoga seminar that focuses on balancing professional life and personal well-being.
An information event on separation and divorce also offers legal guidance and support in challenging phases of life. The programme is rounded off with campaign days to mark "One Billion Rising", International Women's Day and the International Day against Violence against Women. "Our aim is to accompany and support women in all situations in life," emphasises Beate Friedrich, Head of the Women and Equal Opportunities Service. "The new programme combines professional and personal topics and provides targeted impetus to empower women."
Registration for the individual events is now open - by e-mail, by telephone on 05631 954-1318 or online. A complete overview of the programme and further information on the individual events is also available there.
