Lecture "Growing older healthily"

The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg is committed to strengthening the health literacy of its citizens. Under the motto "Well informed - healthy living", the health department is therefore organising information days on health topics for the first time in 2025 in collaboration with cooperation partners.

On 12 June 2025, a lecture on the topic of "Healthy ageing - nutrition in old age and support options for family carers" will take place at 10 a.m. in the Bürgerhaus Korbach. Gabriele Mertens-Zündorf from the Networking Centre for Senior Nutrition in Hesse will talk about healthy eating in old age. Special attention will be paid to nutrition in hot weather and the special needs of people in need of care.

Costs: The event is free of charge.
