Parents' café with reading programme for parents with small children in Korbach

On Monday, 8 December 2025, there will once again be a parents' café with reading aloud in the Korbach public library from 4 pm. The offer from the specialist youth service of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, early help department, in cooperation with the city library, is aimed at parents with small children from birth to 3 years of age. Siblings are also very welcome.

A child-friendly environment and the guidance of library staff and a volunteer reading aloud specialist create the best conditions for all guests of the parents' café to spend pleasant hours in the public library. Parents can go on a journey of discovery into the world of books together with their child with the help of interesting and stimulating read-alouds.

As there is only a limited number of participants for the parents' café with reading offer, registration is required by email at stadtbuecherei@korbach.de by 1 December 2025. Participation in the event is free of charge.
