"Coffin whispers"

"Coffin whispers"

An in-house production by the Edertalschule Frankenberg theatre group under the direction of Daniel Herbrich and Thorsten Jech.

One ...

... take familiar situations from everyday life in a shared flat with the classics such as "Who's doing the washing up today? Who cleans the flat? Who's moving into the spare room?"

... then combine these ingredients with interesting characters and figures such as vampires, werewolves, zombies and "normal people",

... build a plot that gives the audience pleasure,

... develop absurd, entertaining, but also thought-provoking scenes and resolve the whole thing with a happy ending.

This is roughly how the group went about developing and realising "Sarggeflüsters". The result is a play with bite, a comedy about vampires and werewolves, an easily digestible horror show with lovable characters, true to the motto: We love to entertain you.

The Edertal School's theatre club is a voluntary school-based working group of currently 29 pupils, which takes place regularly on Tuesday afternoons and for which there are no grades. It is open to anyone interested from Year 10 onwards. Students who leave the school can no longer actively participate. As a result, there are major changes in the composition of the group every year and every new school year means a (relatively) fresh start.
