Women and equal opportunities

The Women and Equal Opportunities Department of the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg works to represent the interests of women within and outside the district administration - and has the legal mandate to ensure that the constitutional requirement of equality is fulfilled in all areas of life. It promotes gender equality and is committed to equal opportunities, reconciling family and career, improving the social situation, women's policy and combating (domestic) violence. We are committed to a society in which everyone has the same opportunities - regardless of gender, sexual orientation, physical and/or mental impairment.
