The district once again awards a culture prize

To honour cultural commitment, the district is awarding a cultural prize again this year. Proposals can be submitted until 31 May.

In 2021, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg will once again award a culture prize to promote special, exemplary commitment in the field of cultural creativity. The prize will be awarded for the 20th time this year. It serves to promote cultural forces at district level and is divided into a main prize worth up to 2,500 euros and a youth prize worth up to 500 euros.

Individuals, groups of persons, clubs and associations are now called upon to submit proposals for the Culture Prize and the Youth Culture Prize. Self-applications are also possible. Nominations can be made by persons or groups of persons who are exceptionally active in the cultural field in the district or in relation to the district. The nomination should be accompanied by documents expressing the special, exemplary commitment to be honoured, such as photos, offprints, press reports.
