Second DEPASH self-help group meets for the first time on 26 February
Supported by the Waldeck-Frankenberg self-help contact centre, a second self-help group is being set up on the subject of DEPASH - depression, anxiety disorders and panic attacks. Although such a group already exists in Frankenberg (Eder), the demand is so great that there is no longer sufficient capacity. The first information event for the second DEPASH group will take place on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, from 4 p.m. at the Psychosoziales Zentrum Treffpunkt e. V. at Hainstr. 51 in Frankenberg. Weekly meetings are planned, registration is not required.
The Depash e.V. association is responsible for the existing and the new, second self-help group. North Hesse. The group is aimed at adults with depression, anxiety disorders and panic attacks and is designed by those affected for those affected. Interested parties should note that the group is not led by therapists, so it is not psychotherapy and the group meetings cannot replace psychotherapeutic treatment. However, by participating in the self-help group, waiting times until the start of therapy can be bridged and those affected receive valuable support.
If you have any questions about the new offer or about self-help in general, the self-help contact centre of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district will be happy to help - by e-mail or by telephone on 05631 954-1888.
