"Walk and Talk" continues: next date on 24 March
The Waldeck-Frankenberg district health service is continuing its "Walk and Talk" programme. Walking, talking and enjoying nature together will once again be possible every fortnight on Tuesdays from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm in 2026 - except when the administration is closed and on public holidays.
Walking often makes it easier to talk - there is hardly anything better for clearing your head and looking at things from a different perspective. Physical exercise stimulates mental activity and can have a positive effect on creativity, alertness and mood. Exercising in the fresh air and being outdoors also strengthens the immune system, relaxes the nervous system, releases endorphins and lowers the stress hormone. You feel freer, can free yourself from worries more successfully and possibly develop new strategies for action.
The programme is aimed at anyone who would like to go for a walk in the fresh air and have a nice chat at the same time. Whether it's with the aim of meeting new people, improving your language skills or simply for the joy of exercise in the company of others. It is not necessary to register for the free programme... if you like, just drop by on a Walk Tuesday.
The meeting point for the "Walk and Talk" walks is in front of the new district administration building in Korbach at Südring 3. The next walk will take place on 24 March 2026. All other dates and information can be found on the district's website at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/ under the keyword "Gesprächsangebot", by phone on 05631 954-1487 or by email at vivien.halw@lkwafkb.de.
