School closure due to weather conditions or distance learning

According to the German Weather Service, there is a risk of black ice in Waldeck-Frankenberg due to sleet on Monday (11 January). The current status of the weather development can be viewed at any time on the website of the German Weather Service . The schools decide independently about possible distance learning or possible school cancellations.


All schools are requested to inform the district of any weather-related changes to regular school operations and to notify them as soon as possible by emailing presse@lkwafkb.de.
