Further training completed: Caregivers receive certificates

Within the framework of the Pact for the Afternoon, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg regularly offers further training for caregivers. Seven participants recently completed this training at the Protestant Fröbelseminar in Korbach.

The further training ended with the presentation exams, in which the care workers took a presentation exam on a topic of their own choice in front of the examination board - consisting of the head of the Fröbelseminar Melanie Brück, lecturer Silke Holland, and the socio-educational supervisor of the Schools and Education Department Svenja Lotze. All participants passed with great success.

The district offers the qualification series with a scope of 88 teaching units within the framework of the Pact for the Afternoon. It is implemented by the Protestant Fröbelseminar. The 38 primary schools in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg all offer afternoon care and in some cases also care before classes begin for the pupils.

16 of these 38 primary schools also participate in the state programme Pakt für den Nachmittag (Pact for the Afternoon). This means that they provide care even until 5 p.m. and to a certain extent also during the school holidays. As a joint measure of the state of Hesse and the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg for integrated and customised education and care, the Pact for the Afternoon also contributes to the compatibility of family and work.
