Johnson delivery: registration via latecomer platform

This week, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg received a special delivery of vaccine from the manufacturer Johnson & Johnson - 500 doses. With this vaccine, one vaccination is sufficient to obtain full vaccination protection. Those who wish to be vaccinated are asked to register for it now via the district's vaccination follow-up platform. This is the only way to register for this special vaccination campaign. The doses are to be vaccinated in Korbach in the coming days.

Anyone who has registered online on the substitute platform and receives an offer of vaccination by text message on their mobile phone must reply to this text message with "YES" (in capital letters and without punctuation). The appointment is only valid if the person willing to be vaccinated has received a second SMS as confirmation of the appointment. Then those who have registered can keep their offered vaccination appointment at the Korbach centre.

So far, the vaccine of the manufacturer Johnson & Johnson is recommended for people over 60 years of age. This target group is therefore particularly predestined for vaccination - and thus especially called upon to register. However, the vaccine can also be given to people under 60 years of age after a consultation with a doctor and medical advice. Apart from the current special campaign for the vaccination of the Johnson doses, the vaccination follow-up platform also offers the possibility to register for all other available vaccines.

In addition, the district draws attention to this: If you have received a vaccination via the vaccination follow-up platform of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and at the same time have registered for a vaccination with the state of Hesse, you should also - either online at www.impfterminservice.de or www.impfterminservice.hessen.de or by calling 116 117 or Tel. 0611 - 505 92 888 - deregister with the state of Hesse for your vaccination again so that the appointment can be allocated elsewhere quickly.
