County and museums are looking for props from the 70s

Brightly coloured flokati carpets, Pril flowers, vintage armchairs and motif wallpaper: The 70s were a cult decade in many respects. The district would like to revive this zeitgeist for its 50th birthday next year - and is looking for nostalgic objects, props and decorations that characterised this unusual era for a joint exhibition project with the museums in Korbach, Frankenberg and Bad Wildungen.

Cult objects from the 70s wanted!
They are to be part of a travelling exhibition that the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, the Wolfgang Bonhage Museum, the Museum im Kloster Frankenberg and the Bad Wildungen Municipal Museums will be presenting together at the three locations at different times next year. Anyone who owns furniture, items of clothing, photos, decorations, games, household items or even a tube television, jukebox or other 70s-style cult objects and would like to make them available for the exhibition is welcome to send an e-mail to presse@lkwafkb.de or call 05631 - 954 1338. The district and museums look forward to receiving numerous responses.

Time travel into the history of the district
The exhibition in 70s colour is not only intended to reflect the spirit of this special decade, but will also be a short journey through time into the origins of the district, in which visitors can immerse themselves in the history of Waldeck-Frankenberg. What exactly will be on display will remain a surprise for the time being, but the exhibition will be on show at various locations in the district throughout the anniversary year from spring next year.
