Some registration offices closed on 11 October
The vehicle registration offices in Bad Arolsen, Bad Wildungen and Battenberg will be closed on 11 October due to training on a new software programme. In addition, the registration offices in Korbach and Frankenberg will have limited availability on 10 October and from 12 to 17 October. Citizens are asked to take care of their concerns outside these times if possible.
"During these times, we will train our employees in the use of a new software programme," says Petra Gerhold, head of the traffic department. "We therefore ask all citizens for their understanding for the limited accessibility of our registration offices during this time." Of course, the online services of the district can also be used during this time: It is also possible to digitally reserve a licence plate and register or deregister vehicles online during this time.
After 17 October, the registration offices will be open and accessible as usual. Further information on this and on the opening hours of the individual locations can be found here.
