Administrative offices with limited availability on 18 September

On 18 September, the Waldeck-Frankenberg district will be holding its annual staff meeting. The administrative offices will therefore only be available to a limited extent from 12 noon on this day.

Numerous employees will come together for the meeting to find out about new developments, discuss current topics and exchange ideas. District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst emphasises the importance of staff meetings: "These gatherings are important in order to engage directly with all employees, intensify communication and strengthen the sense of togetherness. Given the size of the administration with over 1,000 employees, direct dialogue is particularly important alongside digital means of communication."

This is also the view of the district's staff council, which has invited staff to the meeting: "The staff meeting is not only based on a legal obligation to give colleagues an overview of our activities," says staff council chairwoman Sigrid Tripp. "It also offers the opportunity for a genuine dialogue and comprehensive information." It also promotes transparency and a positive working atmosphere among all employees.

For citizens, the staff meeting means that the administrative offices of the district can only be reached to a limited extent from 12 noon on 18 September. They are therefore asked to deal with their concerns on other days or digitally if possible. This is because many services can already be applied for online from the district.
