Free admission to outdoor pools during the summer holidays

Summer holidays: Free admission to outdoor pools

Children and young people have suffered particularly from the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic in recent months - especially with regard to leisure activities. Due to administrative offences such as violations of the mask requirement or quarantine regulations, the district has issued fines amounting to about 60,000 euros in the past months. Together with its municipalities, it has therefore decided to use the fines to give children and young people in Waldeck-Frankenberg free admission to all outdoor swimming pools in the district during the summer holidays. The free admission for children and young people up to the age of 18 is valid for the period of the Hessian summer holidays (17 July - 29 August).

Each outdoor pool handles admission differently. The list below contains the contact details of all outdoor pools in Waldeck-Frankenberg. If necessary, you can call in advance to find out about the procedures of the individual outdoor pools.
