Online event "Money in the relationship - let's talk about it!"

Money is important - in all phases of a relationship. Despite this, too many couples still talk about it too little. Statistics show that 26% of couples regularly argue about money and 59% cite it as a reason for divorce. At the same time, women earn significantly less money than men over the course of their lives due to structural salary differences, especially when they become mothers. The "motherhood penalty" is a 60% loss of lifetime earnings! This leads to one-sided dependencies in the relationship and reinforces an unhealthy power imbalance.

This talk will give you tips on how you can talk about money more easily as a couple and organise your finances fairly and on an equal footing.

The lecture strengthens women in their own money awareness and supports them with practical tips and instructions on how to deal confidently with the various financial gender gaps (salary, parental allowance, pension, etc.) in the relationship. Women of any age and in any relationship status can take part. The content can be implemented both as a couple and alone, thus strengthening financial education and the goal of gender equality.
