Market at the castle

Buying regional and seasonal food not only means eating a particularly varied, healthy and tasty diet - it also actively protects the environment. You can get a taste of the regional delicacies Waldeck-Frankenberg has to offer at the traditional market at the castle in Bad Arolsen on 11 May.

The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg cordially invites all connoisseurs and friends of conviviality to the castle courtyard from 11 am to 6 pm. The official opening is at 12.30 pm. This year, 90 direct marketers and artisans from all over the district will be attending the colourful open-air market. In addition to the numerous regional delicacies to try and take away, visitors can also look forward to a varied cultural and hands-on programme.
