Weekly online application training for women

Together with the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Employment Agency and the Job Centre and in cooperation with the "Social Business Women" association from Königstein, the Women's Office of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district is now offering weekly online job application training for women on Mondays and Tuesdays. Interested persons can register for these courses now.

The offer is intended for women who want to re-enter professional life after a longer break, who are looking for a change in their career or who have become unemployed during the current crisis. From the cover letter to the job interview, they are to be supported by the offer of the Women's Office and the Employment Agency.

In personal individual appointments, participants are given the opportunity to simulate a job interview, for example, to improve self-presentation and appearance and to present their own skills well. The simulation can also take place in English if desired. Anna John will be on hand as a coach. She has been working in human resources for more than 25 years and brings with her a wide range of cross-sectoral knowledge.

"We are pleased that the district and the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Employment Agency and the Job Centre, together with the association from Königsstein, can also make this offer to women in Waldeck-Frankenberg," says the district's Women's Officer Beate Friedrich. "The online coaching sessions are a good addition to our women's programme."

The 60-minute sessions take place on Mondays and Tuesdays via the Zoom platform. To register, call 06174 - 968 08 68. Further information is also available online at www.social-business.women.com. Since 2014, the Königssteiner Verein has successfully accompanied 750 women back to work each year in Hesse. The programme is funded by the Hochtaunuskreis, the municipal job centre, the city of Kronberg, the European Social Fund and the Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration.
