Next district council meeting will take place on 1 July in Allendorf
The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council will take place on Friday, 9 July at 3 p.m. again in the multi-purpose hall in Allendorf (Eder). The members of the district council will meet there - in compliance with hygiene and distance regulations - to discuss current issues together.
Participation of interested parties is possible. The chairman of the district council, Rainer Hesse, cordially invites you to attend. However, prior registration is requested. Due to the pandemic, the meeting will not last longer than absolutely necessary. The state government expressly requires the people's representatives to meet in person even during the Corona pandemic - especially because of the necessity and importance of the resolutions to be passed. However, these are conducted under strict hygiene and distance regulations. The agenda is accordingly geared to this and speaking times are also limited accordingly.
The MPs discuss, among other things, a land swap of the Waldeck domanial administration in connection with the extension of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and the de-allocation of school land, in particular that of the primary school site in Sachsenhausen. In addition, decisions will be made on the new version of the child day care statutes and the amendment of the fresh meat cost statutes. Furthermore, there are some elections to be held - for members of the hearing committee or the association assembly of the "Grenztrail" special purpose association.
The public meeting will be held in Allendorf for the second year in a row, as the multi-purpose hall there is large enough and suitable to be able to comply with the current safety regulations around the coronavirus. However, in order to be able to implement the distance and hygiene regulations, only a limited number of seats are available for the public. Guests will be collected from the main entrance shortly before the meeting begins. Participation in the meeting is only possible with a medical mouth-nose mask.
