Online regulars' table for Neu-Waldeck-Frankenberg on 25 May

For a few years now, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg has made it its business to take care of newcomers and returnees. The "SuSe - Stand- und Spielbein ermöglichen" project, which is part of the village and regional development service, serves this purpose. "SuSe" aims to help people settle down in the district and arrive professionally and privately.

An opportunity to get to know like-minded people is now offered by an online regulars' table for new citizens, which will take place for the first time on Tuesday, 25 May 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm. All newcomers/returnees to Waldeck-Frankenberg are cordially invited to participate, as project coordinator of the "SuSe" network Anneke Heine and specialist service provider for village and regional development Dr. Jürgen Römer emphasise.

Guests at the first edition of the online regulars' table are the "Pulwerköppe" from Korbach. They will bring along some anecdotes about the former night watchmen and will be available to answer questions about Korbach and its history. In this way, everyone who has not lived in Waldeck-Frankenberg (again) for long will learn more about the district and Hanseatic town and thus their new/old home. As a special highlight, there is the possibility to get the Stammtisch feeling directly at home with a small package of regional specialities delivered in advance. During informal conversations, contacts can be made and more can be learned about "SuSe - the network".

Interested newcomers and returnees can register by Friday, 14 May 2021, by calling Anneke Heine at 05631 954-533 or 0160 90872299. The free event is offered via the online platform BigBlueButton, the dial-in link will be sent in time. A software download is not required. Old residents of Waldeck-Frankenberg are asked to tell new neighbours about the event.
