Walking tour of the self-help centre well attended

Under the motto "Self-help gets moving", the self-help centre's walking tour is now well established. During the tour, there are several stops where information about self-help work in connection with nature therapy is provided. Heike Eschler and Kristin Schmidt-Momberg from the Self-Help Contact Point also report on the positive effects of exercise for self-help during the walk. Contact point dog Gingko joined the group on the latest walk, which led around Vöhl-Basdorf.

The participants from various self-help groups agreed that it was a great tour in the best walking weather, with good conversations and helpful exercises from nature therapy. The oldest walker was 82 years old and easily managed the 3.5 kilometre route in the two and a half hours scheduled.

"A great offer", emphasised the participants, all of whom would like to take part again and are already looking forward to the next tour. This will probably take place in October in Upland, probably in Usseln or Willingen, and will again cover about 3.5 kilometres on level ground. Details of the next self-help centre walk and how to register will be announced in good time.
