Submit applications digitally: County invites to online meeting

Registering a car, applying for benefits or permits or registering for events: Numerous matters can already be dealt with online in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. The district will provide information on exactly how this works at an online meeting that anyone interested can attend on 10 February at 7 p.m. at the click of a mouse from the comfort of their own home.

Handling requests online
The district is relentlessly pushing ahead with the digitisation of application procedures: already 70 requests can be handled online at the district; by the end of 2022, the district will be able to provide the majority of its services in digital form. Paperwork and time-consuming administrative procedures can then be dispensed with. Which concerns can already be dealt with online and how this works is the topic of the online meeting that will take place in the digital space on 10 February due to the Corona pandemic. Interested parties are cordially invited to attend.

Saving paper and time
"Our process manager Oliver Merhof goes through some of our procedures step by step with the participants. In this way, we want to illustrate how quickly and easily online applications can be submitted to the district," explains the district administration's project manager for digitalisation, Nastasia Sluzalek. This not only saves citizens paper, but also time. "With this offer, we want to break down hurdles and show that digitalisation can significantly simplify many processes - and thus offer real added value." Which concerns these already are can be seen online at a glance .

Support for online participation
On the day of the event, the digital room where the meeting will take place will be activated an hour earlier - i.e. from 6 pm. All participants will then have enough time to log in online at their leisure and test the functions. The district administration team will also be online earlier and will be happy to help with technical problems and questions.

The digital meeting is part of a series of events on the district's online services for citizens. Other theme evenings will follow this year - either online or in person, depending on how the pandemic develops. Those interested can participate in the event on 10 February via a link that will be posted in the calendar of events on the district's homepage. The calendar can be found here. All you have to do is select the relevant event and click on the button to participate. For technical reasons, participation in the event is limited to 100 people.
