Next district council meeting will take place on 11 September

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on Monday, 11 September 2023, starting at 2 p.m., once again in the meeting room of the District Hall in Korbach, for the second time in the current electoral period. District Council Chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting.

There are a total of 22 items on the agenda, including two major questions: on comprehensive health care in the district and on the accommodation of refugees and asylum seekers. The 10 motions of the parliamentary groups deal with climate- and exercise-friendly schoolyards, mobile phone coverage with improvement of the network and the improvement of social housing. There will also be an interim report on the development of a personnel strategy for the district administration and discussions on the improvement and reorganisation of primary school provision in the area of the town of Frankenberg.

Other items on the agenda are the pilot project "Hygiene articles at schools", the improvement of the public charging infrastructure and the dissolution of Gesundheitszentrum Waldeck-Frankenberg GmbH and Gesundheitszentrum Frankenberger Land GmbH & Co. KG. Reports will be given on the budget implementation for the 2nd quarter of 2023, and the patient advocates of the hospitals in the district will also give their annual reports for 2022. Registration for the public district council meeting is not required.
