Social assistance for people in care homes: district organises information evening
The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg is inviting all interested citizens to an information evening on the topic of "Assistance for care in facilities" on 2 September at 5 pm in the district council meeting room of the district building in Korbach. The event is intended to provide clarification and information about the application process and related topics.
Rising care costs, rising applications
As the costs of care homes rise, the number of people who are dependent on social assistance is also increasing, leading to a rise in the number of applications submitted. Care associations and other interested groups in particular have recently expressed an increased interest in corresponding presentations. The district is happy to fulfil this request.
Advice on application procedures
The information evening is aimed at all interested citizens, carers, relatives and employees of care homes. The Social Affairs Department will provide comprehensive information about the application process during the information evening. Topics such as the right time to submit an application, the duration of the application process and the chances of success of an application will be covered. Aspects such as how to deal with existing assets or property, gifts and reimbursement of costs by heirs will also be discussed. The aim of the information evening is to clarify a wide range of questions, speed up the application process and simplify the processing procedures. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend the event.
