Survey on the need for information in Waldeck-Frankenberg
What information would citizens like to receive from the district administration? Through which channels would they like to receive it? And how would they like to be more involved in the future? In order to obtain a picture of the mood of the people in Waldeck-Frankenberg, the district is launching a four-week online survey with immediate effect, which can be taken part in at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/umfrage.
Anonymous, voluntary and quick
The digital survey only takes around ten minutes, is anonymous and voluntary and can be completed in just a few clicks. It is aimed at all residents of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. In addition to detailed questions on media usage and desired topics, the survey also covers innovative participation formats for citizens such as online consultation hours, participatory budgeting and digital platforms for co-design. The aim is to further improve communication and interaction between the administration and the population - and to incorporate feedback from the people of the district.
Survey results incorporated into study
"We want to know which topics are really important to the people of Waldeck-Frankenberg - from district council meetings and applications to digitalisation topics, climate protection, cultural and advisory services and much more," explains Tanja Reitmaier from the Public Relations, Culture, Sponsorship and Partnerships department, who initiated the survey as part of her studies in Public Relations at IU International University. "At the same time, we are interested in which traditional or modern media citizens prefer to use, which additional communication channels they would perhaps like to see and how they envisage modern, citizen-centred and effective communication with the district administration."
The results of the survey will not only be incorporated into the bachelor's thesis, but will also serve as an important basis for the further development of the district's overall communication strategy. They are intended to contribute to making the communication of information and citizen participation in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg more future-orientated and even more needs-oriented. The district is hoping for active participation from all age and population groups in order to obtain a picture that is as representative as possible.
All further information and the direct link to the survey can be found on the district's website at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/umfrage. Participation is possible until 16 July 2025.
