Online event "Cleverly countered - reacting to discrimination with a quick wit"
Someone serves you a discriminatory slogan, becomes impertinent, tries to manipulate you. How do you react? We are usually speechless and only later do we think of many good counters. You are not alone in this!
In this workshop, we will explore the question of how we women can deal with insulting and discriminatory language. It is about actively taking a stand, protecting (supposedly) weaker people or ourselves and taking a clear counter-position. You will learn and practise how to respond positively and constructively to provocation. This will make you appear more confident and radiate more competence and self-confidence. You can learn to be quick-witted.
Quick-wittedness means keeping control of the situation. It helps you to assert yourself and assert yourself, making you more self-confident and confident.
The participants receive practical and effective impulses with which they can also reflect on their behaviour in the event of discriminatory statements after the seminar, so that what they have learned has a lasting effect.
