Integration conference

  • Performance specification

Integration requires communication and cooperation. For this reason, the Hessian state government has entered into a permanent dialogue with the associations, institutions, churches, religious communities, employers' associations and trade unions involved in integration policy, as well as with the municipal representation. It established an Integration Advisory Council in April 2000 and the Integration Conference at the state level in 2014. The two organisational units were merged at the beginning of the current legislative period to form a single unit in which proven personalities from different areas of society have been appointed. With their different backgrounds and diverse experiences, they place Hessian integration policy on a broad, socially sustainable basis.

The conference advises the state government on issues of integration, defines fields of action and submits practicable proposals for implementation. In addition, it deals with general and specific questions on integration and living together. The integration conference is to point out new ways of integration and support the integration-affirming climate in politics and society.

Our Integration Officer is a member of the Hessian Integration Conference.
