Recognition of a specialist, speciality or additional further training for doctors in Hesse
Performance specification
If doctors wish to complete their further training (specialist, specialisation, additional further training), they must register with the relevant state medical association and apply for the corresponding "recognition". Depending on the qualification sought, the doctor will take an examination and receive a certificate after passing it.
Process flow
After completing the application, we ask you to submit the required documents including the completed application form. After the application has been checked, you will receive information on the further procedure.

- Medical licence to practice medicine or corresponding professional licence
- Proof of all content and periods of further training in accordance with the further training regulations for doctors in Hesse

Which documents are required?
Certificates of further training, certified copies of the attachments to the certificate with a single copy of the corresponding employment contracts. Further documents may be required.
