Digitaltag 2021

Digitaltag 2021

Digital together: In 2020 as well as in 2021, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg took part in the Digitaltag. The aim of the day was to make digitisation tangible and to create digitisation for and with people, digitisation for all. True to the motto #digitalmiteinander, many organisations from the district joined forces to offer a multifaceted programme. Here is a short review of the programme and the individual activities.

Our programme:

(sorted by provider)

  • Korbach Vocational Schools - Bad Arolsen

9 to 10 a.m. - Online keynote: Learning at a distance - and yet together!

    Course leader: Christine Dülfer
Format: Online keynote followed by the opportunity to ask questions
Target group: Anyone who would like to experience virtual teaching at vocational schools

    Short description:
Distance learning, learning at a distance - these terms are known to everyone by now! Would you like to get an impression of what learning at a distance looks like "in real life"? In this online event, I will take you into our virtual auditorium and introduce you to selected learning settings from the lessons at our school and some of our students' learning products. Experience our web conferencing system from a student's perspective and get a taste of our online teaching! At the vocational schools in Korbach and Bad Arolsen, learning platforms and ePortfolio systems have been an integral part of learning for more than 10 years. Since 2020, we have successfully combined these platforms with our web conferencing system. Because even in distance learning (or perhaps especially there?) it is possible to design complex learning opportunities and to support and challenge students individually.

This is an online event (with the BigBlueButton software). All participants can participate actively and live via the functions of the video conferencing software.

    Required are:

    • Computer with microphone and speakers (we recommend a good headset)
    • We recommend using a Chrome-based browser. (Participation is also possible with another internet browser, with a tablet or smartphone, but then important functions of the online event software may be limited).

Registration directly for the workshop at the specified time at: https://meeting62.lernen20.de/b/chr-zjb-izd-qrv

5 to 6 p.m. - Online webinar: Association management with document management in the private cloud

    Course leader: Werner Hoffmann
    Format: Webinar
Target group: Voluntary work, clubs and associations

    Brief description:
True to the motto "Shared work is half the work", the GLS-Vereinsmeister software in the Network Edition offers multi-user operation, e.g. in a branch office, or also the option of distributed working in a private cloud from home. In both cases, you remain "master of your data", i.e. you do not have to transfer access and management of your data to a third-party provider. In addition to the essential aspects of the association's work, such as membership administration, dues invoicing, accounting and online banking, comprehensive document management is available for the software with the DMS add-on module, which has been available since January 2021. Your documents are stored centrally in a digital archive using index data. Here they can be conveniently researched or linked to members, bookings and other transactions. A powerful storage drive (NAS) can currently also take on the role of a server, thus providing central access to the software and document management for an association. Using the example of an installation on a Synology NAS, we will show how a joint cooperation of the functionaries in an association in a private cloud can look like. Use the online seminar to find out more about the possibilities.

Registration at the vhs by 16 June at Tel. 05631 9773-0 or online at digitaltag.vhs-korbach.de

According to the "service design idea", the final feedback of the participants will be incorporated into a possible final version. We look forward to your participation.

Target group: All citizens who would like to learn more about the background and the concrete implementation of the digitalisation of administrative services

    Brief description:
Three letters are currently presenting administrations throughout Germany with a veritable Herculean task: OZG. Behind the abbreviation is the Online Access Act, according to which public administration must also make its services available electronically by the end of 2022. In Hessen, the state and the municipalities are working together with the municipal IT service provider ekom21 to digitise all services and make them available to all Hessian municipalities and their citizens. Everyone benefits from this: citizens can use all municipal services - from ordering birth certificates to registering waste bins to reporting defects - from their living room at home; the municipalities, on the other hand, can easily process the applications digitally. As part of the Digital Day offer, we provide an insight in several films into the background of the Online Access Act, the implementation path of a service to an online service as well as the current status of the implemented services.

5 to 6 pm - Online lecture: Hatha Yoga

    Course leader: Simone Becker
    Format: online lecture
    Target group: all persons

    Brief description:
Yoga means finding balance for body, mind and soul. Yoga helps to relax and recharge your batteries. Learn yoga postures, energising breathing exercises and deep relaxation. Tensions are released, you gain more energy, mental clarity and concentration The Hatha Yoga course is suitable for beginners and advanced students. All you need is a yoga mat or other non-slip mat, a small cushion and, if necessary, a blanket for the final relaxation. It is taught in the Anusara yoga style. We start the yoga class with a short moment of silence to first become aware of the body. Then we start with breathing exercises and various asanas (yoga postures) that strengthen, stretch and give your body new mobility. The yoga class ends with a final relaxation of about 10 minutes. Especially nowadays, when many of us sit too much, yoga offers a good balance. In times of information overload, yoga is a time-out, you will find that your "mindset" is different after the yoga class.

Registration is not required (number of participants limited to 100). Participation is possible at the specified time under https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81404785689?pwd=TnJEaDdJSk96Nzd1aHpIS0lmOFFFdz09 Meeting-ID: 814 0478 5689, identification code: 285646.

7 to 9 p.m. - Online meditation reading: Relaxation in the digital world - Switch off by switching on! Experience everyday life calmly and full of joie de vivre

    Brief description:
The events of the last months during the Corona pandemic have been very challenging for many people. The active reading on this evening is intended to invite participants to experience serenity and joie de vivre even in stressful situations through meditation and yoga and, inspired by this, to transfer these qualities into everyday life. "The Corona pandemic has forced us to rethink this year - also with regard to our traditional events for International Women's Day," says the district's women's representative Beate Friedrich. After the successful online reading on 8 March with the theme "Open your heart to the wonders of your life", we would now like to follow it up. "With the online meditation reading, we have found a great format in which we can still shape the day together - albeit at a distance and in the digital space." The Women's Office and the Kreisvolkshochschule are looking forward to many registrations. The speakers Julia Backhaus, yoga therapist and relaxation teacher, and Svenja Lotze, psychological counsellor and non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy, will broadcast the event from the streaming studio of the Kreisvolkshochschule into the digital space. The reading is based on the book they published, "12 Days for Your Soul". Following the digital reading, participants can take part in a 40-minute online yoga session on the topic of "joie de vivre".

Registration at the vhs by 14 June at Tel. 05631 - 9773-0 or online at digitaltag.vhs-korbach.de
